The Stabil-Lime Group of companies is committed to working with all our employees on mitigation measures that need to take place to ensure we are working safely and within current Government Guidelines. It is noted that these measures are extremely dynamic and can change daily within the business as we respond to an event never before seen within our Country.

Office Health &Safety Standards:

Until full Working from home implementation occurs:

  1. Practice self-isolation and where possible with a distance of 1.5-2 metres to be kept from other employees.
  2. Practice 4m2 rule for office space including control of visitors.
  3. Use your phone to contact others in the office rather than face to face.
  4. Hand sanitiser/Cleaning Products available for general use, toilets, kitchen and photocopier (multiuse tool area).
  5. Basic Hygiene standards to be practiced as per Safety Alert.

-washing hands regularly, including before and after eating and visiting toilet.

-regularly cleaning hands with soap and water (minimum 20 seconds) or an alcohol-based hand rub. If hands are visibly dirty wash them.

-covering nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing and disposing of used tissues immediately.

-Seeing a health care professional if you suspect you’ve been exposed to or are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms (especially if you have a dry cough and temperature)   and to provide us with ongoing information should you be mandated into isolation because of your movements or a contact group member movements and them being exposed (or potentially exposed) to COVID-19. The conditions of which are mandated by the Federal and State Government and MUST be adhered to.  If otherwise; we are following standard Leave Policy arrangements.

  1. Wipe down workspace on a regular basis with provided cleaning products.
  2. Filters on heating and cooling systems to be maintained on a regular basis by Management.

Working from home implementation:

As above and:

  1. Use of ergonomic checklist to ensure workstation is set-up correctly.
  2. QA and IT requirements as instructed from those Departments direct.

Field Health & Safety Standards:

  1. Practice self-isolation onsite where possible.

This includes:

– staying in plant where possible.

-driving in own car to/from site.

-staying in hygienic hotel and having food delivered or takeaway picked up when working away.

-room sharing policy will be temporarily suspended for QRS crew and solo rooms shall be allocated to employees.

-x2 personnel in site huts at a time, observing social distancing requirements.

  1. Group Toolbox and discussions to be run via UHF or phone where possible otherwise at a prescribed distance of 1.5-2 metres between personnel.
  2. Jobs where dual tasks need to be completed etc will involve the use of masks (full and/or P2), disposable suits and gloves (if close contact unavoidable) Once used they are to be disposed of in bin or bag provided.
  3. Hand sanitiser and cleaning products to be available in plant and/or site office/supervisors’ vehicle and in areas where there are shared tools and used on a regular basis by

We ask that PPE and cleaner (inc. Handwash/Sanitiser) supplies are directed through SLD Hire Pty Ltd when possible. This ensures that the supplier is approved and meets our procurements processes. If required outside this process, please discuss with your Manager for further instruction.
